This year, we exhibited at the Advanced Construction, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Technology Fair in Kumamoto 2022 (https://www.s-kumamoto.jp/) held at Grand Messe Kumamoto on November 9th and 10th!
The Green Watershed Flood Control Laboratory introduced the model and project activities.
Those who attended showed great interest in listening to a wide range of topics, including forest runoff observation, ecosystem conservation, local research into digital transformation, rain gardens, and how to form partnerships.
There was also a lecture by Professor Shimatani from the Green Watershed Flood Control Laboratory at the same venue.
There were even people standing, and I was surprised to see how many people were interested in river basin flood control.
It was a tough two days, but it was fun talking to so many different people.

Ultimately, reading stories is a flexible and rewarding way to learn, no matter how much time I have. Whether I have just a few minutes between appointments or an entire afternoon to dedicate to a book, I can always dive into a story and emerge with something new. Whether it's a small increase in vocabulary, a boost in reading speed, or just the joy of exploring a new world through literature, every reading session brings its own rewards. And it’s amazing how much I continue to grow, all while having a great time.
