At our local base (the open space on the first floor of Higo Bank's Hitoyoshi branch), we are currently holding a "Catchment based Flood Management Exhibition" to showcase the research results of this project!
In June, we held a panel exhibition introducing the research activities of faculty members from Kumamoto Prefectural University, with the theme of "Catchment based Flood Management and Partnerships."
On Saturday, June 24th, a workshop was held by Professor Iwami and students from the School of Management to consider climate change adaptation measures. On the day, local residents participated and played a card game planned by the students to consider the impacts of climate change and adaptation measures.
The continuing exhibition will have a different theme each month, so be sure to stop by!
