Plans are underway to install river cameras in the Fujita district of Kikuchi City.

On August 30, 2022, we visited the Fujita area of Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, and explained about the river cameras that are the same as those in the Kannose area.

The Fujita area is an area that recorded a lot of rain during the heavy rains in Kitakyushu that occurred before the heavy rains of July 2020.

As part of formulating a disaster prevention plan in the Fujita area, we were interested in the river camera in the Kannose area and went to give an explanation.

There has been a great deal of interest, and we plan to use this as one location to roll out the river camera system across the country.

We plan to visit the Fujita area again in November to discuss with local residents where to install the cameras, etc.
